I graduated from high school at Georgia Military College in 1966, and junior college in 1968, and received a degree in Journalism with a specialty in Advertising from the University of Georgia in 1971. After graduating I served in the U.S. Army/Infantry, taught school, worked as a social worker at Central State Hospital, worked as a booking agent, band manager and concert promoter in the music industry, and as a factory worker at Rheem Manufacturing before getting my Real Estate License in 1988. I worked for seven years locally as a real estate agent before opening Deep South Realty in the fall of 1995. I have been a Real Estate Broker and a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club since 1992. I am married to Jane Butler Braxley and am the father of Jacob and Benjamin Braxley and reside in Linton, Ga., on the outskirts of Milledgeville.
